Annual event in the Orlando area highlights doctrine, unity, and the Work of the Holy Spirit

The Florida Seminar of the Maranatha Christian Church was held in the Orlando region, bringing together families from across the United States, as well as visitors and members who traveled from Canada and the Dominican Republic.
Held annually for more than ten years in the same format, the Florida Seminar is the only event of its kind in North America, hosted in a rented, semi-rural facility with on-site lodging and dining halls. This structure provides an experience that closely resembles the Maanaim seminars held in Brazil.

The President of the Maranatha Christian Church, Pastor Alexandre Gueiros, was present throughout the event. He participated in meetings with pastors from North America and opened the seminar on Saturday with a brief greeting, read Revelation 4:11, and reminded all participants to give glory, honor, and power to Almighty God.
The teaching program began with Pastor Diniz Cypreste, a member of the Presbytery Council, who ministered on the Origin of the Work of the Holy Spirit in the Maranatha Christian Church. He was followed by Pastor Antônio Carlos de Oliveira, also a member of the Presbytery Council, who taught on the Calling of Samuel and David. The third class was given by Pastor Edilson Rocha Dias, who addressed the theme “Government in the Work of the Holy Spirit.”

After the coffee break, Pastor Humberto Henriques, coordinator of the Maranatha Christian Church in North America, ministered on The Servant’s Dependence on the Lord and on the Body. The day concluded with a teaching by Pastor David Vieira on Worship in the Work of the Holy Spirit.
Throughout the day, children, intermediates, and adolescents participated in classes, rehearsals, and educational and recreational activities. In the evening, the youth gathered around a bonfire and lifted praises to the Lord.

On Sunday morning, seminar participants followed the live broadcast of Sunday Bible School, followed by a final teaching given by Pastor Alexandre Gueiros on Dedication and Zeal for the Work of the Holy Spirit.
The moving of the Holy Spirit was evident throughout the entire seminar. Lives were convicted of sin, touched by the Lord God, and renewed in their decision to walk prepared for the great day of the Rapture. Spiritual gifts brought direction, comfort, and joy to those present. The seminar also provided an opportunity for many brothers and sisters to reunite and testify to the blessings the Lord has worked within families.
On Sunday evening, the Maranatha Christian Church in Orlando rejoiced during a special worship service of glorification, with pastors from the Presbytery present.

Maranatha! The Lord Jesus is coming!
